Does noone like this?
 

I've been looking around Pof, posting my thoughts, and noone seems to like the idea of a Calypso. Or, at least they don't respond if they do. Please, if you like the idea of Calypso, post here. What with Jolly Roger attacking, I think it seems more reasonable to try for an all-powerful enemy.

I think people aren't posting because they expect her to be in the game, because she is. Tia Dalma is Calypso, and I'm sure after a few new story quests she'll play an even bigger roll.

Ok, but anyone else? Tia Dalma may be here, but who's to say Calypso won't come seperately? They've made several "changes" to the game/ movie storylines.

Well even if Tia is Calypso, can't they like make her Calypso somewhere else? Like in a new boss battle. But would appear as Calypso, that would be awesome! Maybe she could turn against us for a while then come back to the pirates side if you defeat her. She could have the staff and doll. And be a high level.

Since the game is set between Movies 1 and 2 - to bring in Calypso would be a hard stretch since she doesn't transform until the end of 2 and 3... not to say I don't like the idea of fighting my ship in a big super-wirlpool :D ... just don't think we'll see it anytime soon :)

Yeah it would take a long time to get this in. But in the future, I hope they do.

I wouldn't say that exactly. I just think people are more interested in other things at the moment. Seems to me the populace around here is interested in two things in particular about now. New content/ story chapter. The dreaded sea beastie. You can bet as soon as one or both of those are out, thoughts will turn to Tia/ Calypso. For me, I say new chapter, and let the rest fall into place from there. :D

I agree with you TheHawke. Right now Tia is not the focus of the game.
