That dude was most likley glitched. It happens when someone fighting him tps away. It makes the enemy invinsible.

It wasn't invincible. It got killed. And there were several of Jolly's lieutenants were left over. French Lieutenants, Spanish Bandidos etc. One of them we fired on for some time. It ran in large imperfect circles at VERY high speed, before zipping off into the ocean. AND DISSAPEARING!
