Steal a Navy Vessel?
 

I've seen a vid on youtube where there was a glitch where the guy stole a navy ship via flying glitch I think it was, and took off with it, then player light sloops were chasing him and of coarse they were faster.They begun to damage him.I talked to one of my honest friends and she said that a friend of hers did it recently.Is stealing a ship still possible say today?

I think the vid was old though.I haven't pulled it myself. I'm not much of a glitch pirate but I like the idea.

That glitch has been gone for a long time. Was a lot of fun while it lasted though...

That WAS a long time ago wasn't it :D That was back when you could run off ships, you could TP to unknown ships without permission (remember THAT annoying bug? :D ) - and the Bulwark and Greyhound Flagships were just off the coast of Devils Anvil... I miss those ships :)

that used to be possiable and you also used to be able to go on a french ship while someone was spanish in your crew kill the french and take there ship it was fun !!!!

I believe this was the primary reason they finally addressed and fixed this bug.
They'd ignored it for sooo long until ship vs ship'ers started using it.

Was alot of fun for those of us that didnt use it against others in player vs player environments.

But im glad its fixed, just wasnt right to use it in SvS.

Dr. Zeppers you have a good point there. I just wish I could have my own Navy Ship! Maybe not fix it for svs? Me and my friends are trying to get off our ships to highjack a Skeleton, Eitc, and Navy ship. Ill tell ye all when we do (if we do).

i recently tried, and could only succeed on getting into a jauggernaut's bilges. there was no way i could figure out to board her oficially however

How do you do it? lol. Pm me. Maybe I could figure out how to get onto other ships. Later

this glitch still works someone was flying next to my light galleon last week

It is possible to fly.. but you can't see them from other ships.

Is this the greyhound sloop running away for light galleons? If it is I seen it before and yes its fixed.
