Some ideas of mine..
 

This thread contains some of my idea's for POTCO. Ye be warned..

1. Know the quests where you have to get an X Amount of Chicken from crates/barrels? Well, there are plenty of chicken running around Port Royal! Why not walk up to one of said rampaging chickens and chase them? It's kinda like searching a crate/barrel(Walk up to them and there's the green circle around them, press shift to activate) except we're chasing chickens(Chasing Chicken, please wait). Of course, there would probably be the whole issue of Not Found. (Chicken ran away! Please try again in a few seconds..)

2. Switch a Weapon! No, not the whole Cutlass to Pistol stuff. Im talking about something like changing your clothes, except your changing the weapon.. Know what i mean? Example: "You've just gotten your taboo voodoo doll, but you really like the pirate doll but you cant change it back to being pirate doll." They should add something like "You've just gotten your taboo voodoo doll, but you really like the pirate doll and so, you visit a nearby gypsy and have her change your doll back to being a pirate doll." In order to change a different type of weapon, you must visit the NPC's that sell that type of weapon. Something along those lines..:psmiley35:


Well, that's my ideas for now. The Chicken one was random.. Will post when i come up with more ideas ^_^

Both idea's are cute little things to add to the game. However I don't think it's something that should be done until most of the other things that we all want such as more islands and what not.

Now that I could go with even if it's just aesthetics. I really like the Barbossa doll the best so I'm actually 1 step away from completing my Taboo/Jack doll quest on Adelie but I'm holding off. I also haven't even done my Grand Pistol quest yet (which I may do but hold off on final turn in) because I really don't like the look of it. Now with supposed weapons upgrades coming on the horizon, I'm hoping they'll be a lot more pleasing in those respects.

I love your second idea !! As Sven Nicasdea, I loved the barbossa Doll, and I can't get back now... It would be a awesome option. I think this kind of options will probably come along the new inventory system (more clother, trade system, loot...)

Weapon changing is something i've been wanting. I would like to use a different weapon on some days.

I like both. It'd be funny if you nabbed a chicken, which was supposed to come from an EITC ship, to hear something like "There's nothing like the fine chickens that the EITC imports: these are EITC chickens, right?"

Shortcuts, devious ones at that, seem rather great.

The weapons idea is a good one. For dolls, I was suggesting that you could change the look of your doll back to an old one, while still keeping the same power--it is a doll: why not just transfer the voodoo juju?
