Quick way to earn cheat cards?
 

Is there a type of enemy or place/area to earn lots of cheat cards or is it luck that you get 1 or you don't?

It's completely random, just keep slashing away ;)

Although it is random, my experience shows that creatures give them often. There is also a quest by black mack for cards.

I have that Black Mack quest but do I get 1 card or many?

Depending on your level head out to kinghead and take out the parade ground with grenades or voodoo staff. Navy soldiers seem to give out a lot of cards and the gold adds up quickly too. I any event your odds would be better dropping 10 guys at once. P)

When i was leveling my staff there I pulled in a lot of cheat cards as well as the other stuff.

Oh, you misunderstood, I'm just saying that I typically get my cards from Crabs and wasps. This is not always true, it just seems that way to me. Although above post is correct, the mob gives lots of stuff quicker. What level are you?

Well , on original Matthew, I got 276 cheat cards, mostly from Dark Heart or random skeletons, but also I manged to get them from training grenades on Kingshead till the vets went grey. As for creatures, they tend to just offer rep , no gold or cheat cards really.

Was picking up some nice ones in Becketts (Mercs and Assassins near Neban) and the Catacombs (Dead end in the center with the Raiders and Gypsy). But, like the random treasures... the more you stay in an area and keep grinding the same baddies, the more likely you will find something.

I've gotten few if ANY cards from Davy's boys. But, when I do - it's a goodie (Face Card or Ace).

I tend to get cards more often on low levels then on higher ones. I usually rake in a few cards whenever I head out on a trip to Fort Charles, Governors Garden, or the Alligator area on Cuba.

I got most of mine from the pile of vets at Kingshead.

I read this in another thread, yeah. The guy said for low level cards, get pushovers and green enemies, yellows get any type, and reds are high cards. So yeah, low level stuff, is great in the parade group, especially if you have enough health/tonics or a healer to keep blazing through them.

depends, if your looking for high cards, tormenta or dark, medium, go to kingshead, and low kill skeletons or people at the port royal fort. hope this helps!
