Many a brave Pirate took on Captain Rott's challenge and completed the Casa de Muertos Quest - Captain Rott and crew send their thanks. While some pirates were a bit suspicious about the "jobs" they were asked to complete, your desire for gold was stronger. Many, many pirates completed the quest, and now it be too late to alter course...

Captain Rott - trustworthy? We think not...

Before heading back out to sea Captain Rott was heard to say, "Pirates from all over the Caribbean helped us prepare Port Royal for his arrival. Our boss is quite pleased." Now that the Casa de Muertos Quest has ended, rumors are spreading throughout the Caribbean - who is this mysterious merchant that hired Captain Rott - and why is he coming to the Caribbean? We'll find out very soon mates - that much is certain.

Did you finish the quest, if you didn't why not? And what do you think will happen now?

I wonder - who on earth is this mysterious merchant?! "We'll find out very soon mates" from the test release notes. Good try though.

Possibly they'd like to be more role-playing and lore-like for their userbase that does not have Test access nor frequents a forum that reveals such information.

Obviously. But that does not change the fact that the information is available, whether every user stumbles across it or not.

Unlike the ol' beta days, since big D knows that Test Releases and Live Players run concurrent and people compare notes all over the place (including here) - they have to give the Live Players something while the Testers have time to work out bugs and glitches of whats to come...

Ya have to have some fun with it while things get tested :)

Indeed, i was one of the many to help Zekie along with my other pirates(Except they couldn't finish all of the quests because they were to low a level :() I did the quest's willingly due to the rewards and the rumors of who this "Merchant" is. If the rumors are true, then All Hail Jolly Roger, Scourge of the Caribbean! If the rumors aren't, ah well atleast the rewards were good..

Aye, I finished the quests, but not fer the gold.

I can obtain gold easily by a little plunderin'. I am desperate fer new quests, fer somethin' to do, fer more notoriety...

I have completed the Black Pearl quests and all the side quests, so I jumped at the chance fer these new quests.

But, I'm finished now, and like a lot of the other pirates, I am not 100% sure I trust this mysterious man...

Aye, Captain!!!! I did finished the quest but is that all they have in store for us I don't think so I would be on the watchout for more Merchants on other Islands and more gold in our packets but that is yet to be heard of for now

Well no, I didn't finish the quest on one of my pirates - in fact I wasn't even able to start it. Unfortunately though the response time to my emails was such that I'm still waiting for a reply to my second email ....

Just remember kids - a weapon quest is a fortune quest, except when it's not!

I did Finish the quest on both my level 40 pirates
 

Aye Matey I did finish the quest but it did not get me very far as I'd hope I have a long way to go to level me one pirarte to level fiffty it is exhusting if you ask me but as far as Rott go's he made off with more money then Catherine did some of them chess's had lot more value to them due to that they were all in a new dig spot that the main game did not use and I do believe there are more dig spot's not being use at all in other places of the game. I do believe the game has long way to go to get them used up. So are we going to see more new quests to get to use them dig spots ????????????????? I Seeeeeeeeeeeeee we may see more gold our way for a cost of a dig spot. That is how I be seeing it any way Give me a typee back if I Be wrong here.
