Freezing, Ink, and Desktop Messed Up?
 

Ok, so there are three problems I experience constantly when playing POTCO.
1. ESPECIALLY when sailing and battling at seas, the game freezes constantly, often meaning my enemy gets away. Is there a way to remedy this?
These next two, out of general note, happen when I exit the game:
2. Whenever exiting, Mac OS X's "Ink" application made for Wacom tablets always pops up. I have a Wacom, but I always keep "Ink" closed, and it is a little annoying to have it pop up all the time...
3. Whenever exiting, the desktop icons scramble. This is a very short lived glitch, but it can be annoying.

I'm just making sure that none of these are problematic, and I was wondering if there is a way to fix them. (ESPECIALLY the first one.)

might have to change settings like OpenGL direct x8 and x9... Zeppers has a guide around here some where to that.....but it might not be that.

Sailing requires more of your computer, ISP, and video card so while with certain graphic settings you may experience no lag on land you may have game breaking lag at sea. By adjusting those settings before you sail you can greatly improve your experience while at sea.

I would contact Jason Davy... He is the Mac expert around these seas.

As far as sailing I had to adjust my settings to reduce lag and freezing. That took care of any lag both in land and out in the sea.

I contacted him, I'm gonna try to tweak the game graphics settings.

I think by freezing you mean lag right? Yes, this is annoying to many, although I seem to get more lag on land. The boss battle is the absolute worst. But, yes, fixing graphics should help.
