What are you standing there for??
 

Hi guys. I have been gone for a bit but now I am back playing. My question is this, why aren't the enemies attacking me? I mean, if I attack them, they do. But I can bump into them, stand right in front of them and nothing. It used to be that if I was surrounded by baddies they would attack. Not anymore. I know it might sound strange to some of you, but it takes the thrill out of racing through a bunch of bad guys knowing they won't even react at all. Is it just my game or a universal thing now?

An update or two ago D started tweaking the enemy agression. Seems the way it's set now, anything gray or green to you won't attack you til you attack them. Yellow enemies are on the fence, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. The reds will get you if you get close, but there are still times you have to hit first with them. For me, the bosses don't engage til I do.

They've messes with the enemy aggression levels recently.

Aye, like Sarah said, during an update not too long ago, Disney started doin' a little messin' around with enemy aggression.

And mate, that's not strange. :) I used to love the thrill of runnin' through Kingshead, havin' 50 enemies after me, then I whip out me staff and take 'em all down.

Thats a shame I think. I do wish they would change it back. Thanks for your info everyone :piratear:

I love that addition! Before, it was very very annoying to battle every greys ennemies... And now, they "know" that our pirate are stronger that them, so they don't try because they will die !

Great addition, like we can see on the most famous MMO (age of canon for example...)

It's not the Disney crew. It's the fact that the enemies have gotten smarter. Also, Jolly has lost too many to just let them attack if they're going to die.

Well, considering I'm not that high of a level... I dont mind much. altho I was running through tormenta (I'm not that bright of a lad, Ok?) and they did attack... to my demise. 'specialy when that captain got me in a single hit... but I did used to run thru kingshead with veterens and officers on my tail, then throw a powerful grenade at 'em all. meh he he...
