My name is Lisa (obviously) and I suppose I'll give a bit of an introduction :hiuf3:
I've been playing POTCO for a couple of months now but just recently joined the fourms. My pirate is Lisa O'malley and I can typically be found on the Abassa server. I'm an officer in the Crazy Scotsman guild and I love helping other pirates, whether that be with quests, sailing/cannons, or just leveling up. My favorite weapon is the dagger because it can be used for both ranged and close combat, as well as shatter attunements.
I've played a lot of MMORPG games (this is going to totally date me but my first one was the original Everquest lol) and I can honestly say I enjoy POTCO more than any other MMO I've ever played. The whole reason I quit playing MMO games back in the day was because I found other players to be so insufferably satisfied with themselves that it was atrocious (or in other words, really annoying). There's a sense of cooperation between players on POTCO rather than competition and flame wars, which is a breath of fresh air. People don't resort to name-calling and passive-aggressive remarks when someone new asks a question, which is quite rare nowadays.
I'm in college, so "real life" tends to take up the vast majority of my time. I try to log in at least once a day, though. If you come across me, just say hi. I'm always game for making new friends!
