Dagger training quest bugged?
 

I'm on the part of the quest where you have to recover a message from level 7 and up Navy ships. I've sunk a few kingfishers and greyhounds, but no message. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? I'm thinking some EITC, I may go try them.

I completed the quest. I got it when I grappled/boarded a navy ship and beat the sailors on board. Prior to that, I sunk quite a few ships and it didnt complete.

Didn't have any problems either with it. I was with a crew fighting ships, didn't remember exactly when I got it.

But try boarding a few of the greyhounds and see if that helps.

I've boarded 7 navy ships (4 kingfishers, 3 greyhounds) and still no message. Is there something else that I gotta do or should I keep trying?

I believe I got mine when I sunk one, but it was about 10-15 ships in that I got it. So just go about pillaging and have fun and if it gets excessive then report it.

It took me quiet a few ships to get it, but I finally did.

I got it on the first ship I sunk, I think it was a lvl 23 war frigate. It wasnt a flagship, either.

I got my ship also... did take a good amount.

Did you guys get the ' searching for message...item not found ' thing on your screen when doing this? I'm not getting it and I think that somewhat makes me think I'm doing it wrong. Either way, I'll go back to sinking ships now.

I got mine while I was in Cuba turning in my cuba teleportation quest. I was out at sea randomly hitting ships on my way to cuba, and one of those was the lucky ship I guess.

I got it. I had to beat a Centurion to get it, like how some of you said defeat big ships. Thanks for the tips, you guys rock.
