Another Update...
 

...with no release notes. I'll see if I can figure out what has been updated and then post here. If YOU happen to figure it out before me, feel free to post yer findings here, too.

EDIT: Spent about an hour on test. Couldn't find any changes.

Logged on for awhile..checked out PR, PDF, & Beckett's Quarry. Didn't really notice anything different except the lag seems to be gone. Could be updates on islands I didn't check, though...

...followed by an update on open this morning. Again, no info on what the update was.

Probably was this:

• Fixed a reputation-gain shortcut from one of the side quests

It's the only thing different from the Test release motes from 9/3 and today's Open release notes.

I think that may be in reference to some of the side quests and treasure quests that you could pick up, do the first part for 100 rep, drop and then pick back up, basicly giving you 100 rep for doing nothing but saying "hi" over and over.

I don't have any of those quests available on my pirates to double check it though...anyone?

The update fixed my slowdowns during login, that's all I noticed!

I know they fixed the flaming skull animation before if you cast it several times in a row it would continue to grow until it was nothing but flame all over the screen. Now it stays the same from the first time to the 100th time.

The quest in question was broken (hence you could do it for 100 rep, drop it, then pick it up again and get another 100... then just repeat) - but I haven't been on to test it since the update (since I've been very busy with work the past few weeks, I just tested it about a week or so ago for a few minutes - haven't been back on since to try it since the update...)
