State of Rogues of Fortune: A message for all members of RoF

Well, here's an update so everyone's in the loop as to what's going on.

John Walker, the former Vice-GM has left the game. He will be missed. Linds Jayspice will take his place as Vice-GM, with Marc Rigwallace becoming Guild Relations Captain. Jason will be joining Admin for the time being until I can find someone else.

Officer matters aside, we've had issues in respect and authority. People, if i'm not online, which will happen quite often, you still have to act as though I am. I've seen screenies of what happens and what is said. I've kicked people for things, and i'm not afraid to keep it up. Read the rules, ask an officer.

On the topic of officers, I have had several requests for promotions. The chances of me saying yes, are about 1 in 165,432. I promote based off of what I and the top officers see.

Finally, POF. We need more people on here. Take a look at some of the other sub forums. We have more people then them, but yet there's rarely a new post in here. I can't answer that, can you? Talk to people, get them on here.

Hey

Sorry to hear the John Walker has left us, he will be missed. If there is anything I can do for the good of the guild don't hesitate to ask. The last few weeks have been hectic with the new releases first on test then on open and I promise that after tonight I will return as Matthew Redskull. As far as respect I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Perhaps when Linds, Jason myself and Vixy are more active we can take better care of the guild membership. I see Linds struggling alone to keep order and I apologize for not stepping up sooner. I will make a point to post here more often as soon as I get my primary character where I want him (expect post on that soon)

Best of luck ROF, you've done a great job at holding together.

Linds 09-09-2009 10:50 PM

I must speak on a brighter note - I think that over all, we have an AWESOME GUILD! I really have seen a lot of improvement, there is still some that needs to be done, but we have a great bunch of characters and quite a fantastic family base :D

Thank you Zeke for your hard work, your a great GM - above and beyond any that I have seen. I appreciate this new job and I am very honored ;) . It is completely unexpected and I am still in shock a bit. Hopefully I can be as good as Jason and John... haha, I can try ;)

Thanks Matt for your help, can't wait to see you and Vixy more! Miss you guys.

ROGUES FOREVER ;)

Ty for the opportunity to serve the guild as a cadre member. The last week has been very busy for ROF and the in game numbers are steadily rising. It's nice to see some players who have been gone a while coming back and playing regularly again. As the months progress and the attendance is better we will start planning some more complicated guild events. Until then plundering and tag are still popular favorites and a needed distraction from the mindless weapons grinding that is overtaking most of the players time.

I'm surprised that we have over 450 members but there's rarely more than 10 people on at a time. I agree that more people need to be active.

Linds 09-22-2009 01:31 PM

Yes, although I know at least 5 ppl who are not going to be active until school is settled and such. Prob another 5 that are waiting for quests and other weapons.

Zeke did some cleaning last night at our meeting, we will continue to clean up - starting with the lvl 1-4 area.

Go Rogues ;)

Shadowsoul 09-23-2009 12:26 AM

Well, that's good about the cleaning up... but even if there are ten who we know will be inactive and about 20 who are active... there's a lot of cleaning up to do.

Good luck preserving the way of your code RoF!

jason davy 09-24-2009 07:06 PM

Miss you guys, I do plan on playing again once there is something new to do - something new NOT meaning leveling the same weapons for endless hours. ;) See you around!

Linds 09-24-2009 08:08 PM

^ Slacker!!! I'll give you something new to do!!! :P

To be honest, i'm surprised. This thread was merely meant to be an update on issues in the guild, and to motivate people. It's still a work in progress, but the outright amount of postage in here is pretty impressive.
