What is your fave video game?
 

What is your fave game besides POTCO and TT or any other online MMORPG? Mine is the Kingdom Hearts series. It is a Disney and Square Enix game for the PS2 and there will be KH games on different systems too. I also like The Legend Of Zelda series. My fave of those is The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess ( Wii/GC ). So, what's yours? :dancetl6:

This a really good question, I mean how to choose. By series, by style, by genre, by publisher? Without giving ot much thought I have to go by series first.

1- The Legend of Zelda
2- Resident Evil
3- Mario Kart
4- Medal of Honor
5- FIFA
6- Madden
7- Mario
8- Pikmin
9- Sid Meier's Civilization
10- WWE

Then within the top 2 series I will give you top 3 of each.

Legend of Zelda

1- Ocarina of Time
2- Twilight Princess
3- Majora's Mask

Resident Evil

1- RE 4
2- RE Original
3- RE 0

By individual game its much harder and time consuming, so I will leave it at that.

Nice idea.. but TSC oddly stole majority of mine (maybe not in order, but still)

only thing I don't get.. TSC is a huge fan of Star Wars in everything else.. yet it didn't make the cut here? :laughks2:

Unfortunately SW makes rather poor games. Battlefront and KOTOR are the exception. And their respective sequels are pretty much the same.

That is true.. although if you played a certain way it could be.. rather interesting.

As you can obviously see, I love the Sly Cooper series and NFS games. But Sly Cooper 2 will always be my favorite game, no matter what... unless sly cooper four comes out, possibly...

Heres a bit of histroy for ya...

So the Final Fantasy Series (FF7... I mean who didn't have a tear in their eye when Ariel died?!?!) were good - but just to go even older...

My favorite old arcade game was "Rampart" - with Tetris style blocks you had to build a castle wall, in 20 seconds (and getting pieces to fit on a small piece of land is no easy feat) - then you got to place cannons (taking up room of course) in the walls, then for 30 seconds you would shoot at ships attacking from the coast. They of course would "pin" single holes in your walls - so the next 20 seconds for repairs getting tetris pieces to fit in damaged areas was very tricky, and because you had cannons (which you wanted more of but they also take up room) they also got in the way of you "tetris repairs"...

The nice part about the NES version later - was the campaign style mission.... playing on HUGE maps (several screens wide) where 30-40 enemy ships (some firing explosives, some with fire... landing parties blocking hole repairs) would attempt to block you.

Good times... :D

I havent played zelda twilight princess yet, so ill go with Ocarina of Time. good game

I'm not a huge video game player but my favorites are
1) Halo 3/Halo 3 ODST
2) GoldenEye 007 (Nintendo 64)
3) POTCO (OP said not to include, I'm including anyway)
4) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (that game was HARD - not a bad thing)

I was just playing Zelda : Twilight Princess last night on Wii, and I went to the desert cause I was bored, and I went in the area where the Enemies are and stuff. I kept shooting bomb arrows in the entryway. It was funny lol. Then, I was just shooting boxes lying around and I turned around and a bulblin enemy was like 2 feet away from me so I shot him in the head with a bomb arrow... but the bomb blew me up too :laughks2:.

I always liked the last two of the TimeSplitters Series. Mostly the last because the people in it actually talked for once, most of the things in it made me laugh...
