I logged in this morning and there was a download, but no notification of what it was. Excited, I TPed to Port Royal to see if Ezekiel Rott was there. NOPE.

So, I retrain my cutlass skills (AGAIN) and head into the Lava Gorge to try the new setting out on some skellies.

NEW CAVES ARE LOADED ON LIVE.

ALSO, the new SAILING has been brought onto live.

Finally, notoriety changes have taken effect--looks like there might be some bugs though... Ben Dreadgull is showing as a level 55!

Me? Still a level 40....

According to the release notes (and the notifications we saw on Test), he's not going to be around until the 4th.

Wait, ya mean Kat can sail again?!!!!!!! *insert choir of angels singing Hallelujah! I have not set foot on a ship other than to see a friend glow since the day I mastered sail. It was the next day that the cap went up on live. :mybadki6: I've been only grinding since then, and now have on tap, Gunner for the Pearl Quest, and get this 5 weapons quests, 2 for a level 15 weapon and 2 for level 20 weapons. Time to go get busy!!!!!

I'd guess they wanted to get it out before the extended weekend when a lot of people may go away to camp sites or waterpark hotels or where ever they may go.

I was guessing by this Friday with Thursday at the earliest.

Lol two of my pirates still got the Double rep bonus from last year's Father day quest and haven't finished this year's same quest. I think I should play them after Muertos quests are available. Btw good luck to those who race to get to level 50. I won't participate because I know I won't be able to beat the speed glitchers. Have fun!

I'm not planning on racing to get to 50. I plan on using my double rep on the Muertos quest and then focus on leveling weapons/ranking. However, until a new quest or story chapter comes out I can't see any reason to beat myself silly trying to get to 50/30 to just sit around wondering what to do next.

Of course, I still have ALTS I can/do play too.

Aye, I agree, Boss...think I will work on getting me alt up her Notoriety & weapons....I didn't rush for Lizzy and in no hurry to get to 50 now...But that's just me....

I am happy the new releases are on live now for all to enjoy, but I certainly was not counting on loosing all my player friends! : (

Logged on to check out Menta...It was strange getting reps...nice ones too...I think I got 173 reps on a 42 Mollusk using hex & dolly. Not the best combination...but I wanted to make it outta there..lol

OK...Is it just me or is this update not ready for prime time yet?

I have had some terrible problems with rendering and textures and the like. I get on my boat and not an island in sight. I have to sail by the map...

I never had these problems on test... Maybe it's just me...
