Update to test server

Tried to log in 15 minutes ago and got "site down for maintenance".

Now I'm getting a decent sized update. 12:57 am CDT.

Will update if I see any differences.

I was only in Tormenta and didn't see any changes there. Hmmm...

There was an update two days ago, that one put the compass "back to normal" at sea. (rotating compass, not stationary like on land) Thought that may be what you were getting, but I just logged in again and there was a pretty long update...no notes of course (grrr). Should have some time to fiddle around this afternoon, let ya know what I find ;)

With the update two days ago, we have the ability on the option panel to choose if the compass rotate at sea and on land or not ;)
That's great. But I've noticed anything new with this update...

NICE SVEN! Good find. Now THAT'S the way to do it.

Lady Freckles 08-29-2009 02:54 PM

Wow, hadn't noticed that either. Great idea - everyone can choose to set the compass to what suits them best.

Chris 08-29-2009 02:55 PM

Options are the best so now everyone can have it their way. (Did i just quote burger king.) Anyway I think I will stick with the new version see if i can get used to it if not the old one is fine.

I prefer the "olde" version at sea--I find it easiest to line up my broadsides. Good that we have a choice.

so, which one of those options allows that, the lining up with broadsides.

Aliese 08-29-2009 03:40 PM

Woohoo! See, I wasn't being crazy when I asked for it to be toggleable! :biggrin8:

Dr. Zeppers 08-29-2009 04:58 PM

Love that compass option!
Wow, they really need to help us testers out with some updated notes, so we know what to try and test and provide feedback on.

I've been running through the bugs ive found, and checking to see if they are fixed, and if not re-reporting them.
