how to solo the boss battle?
 

i wanna try to solo the battle but how do you do it. the best that i have done is completing it with one other person.

one more question how do you get your crew to the battle when your crew leader

You must ask a friend to be willing to start it up,then force quit so you can solo it. That should help.

I may be mistaken, but isn't there an option to solo the boss battle?

As for getting through the battle itself solo, I'd like to call it a near if not impossible task. If one has managed to accomplish such a feat, I congratulate them! My guess is you'll want to have your sailing set for the task specifically. Maybe max Take Cover and Open Fire. I suggest being mastered on your cannons and having fury and such maxed. Other than that I guess its just your own personal skill. Good luck to you in your task though!

And if you be asking how to bring a crew along on a boss battle simply go to the look out (L key) and choose accordingly. The crew will be given the option to join and then bring them along automatically i they select 'yes'. Hope I was able to answer some of your questions!

Yes, crew up, have one person leave. That is the only way to solo a boss battle (as in, set it up).

Use the lookout like Jules said, but if it is a quest, use your journal to launch it (otherwise it won't count).

If I'm not mistaken the Boss Battle on test gives you the option of doing the quest solo or with crew...Anyone know for sure??

It does on test. You can start the quest alone. I just tried it to make sure. I did not survive the attempt.
