September One month contest
 

Not forcing anyone to be part of this one, and it's not a Wednesday night guild event, but thought we might have some interest from some of the guildies.

For the entire month of September, a contest for who does the most 'pirating' in the guild.

Each guildie who wants to participate, post up one of your pirate names. (Only one pirate per player.) I will check their DxD stats as of Tuesday, September 1. Then, on October 1, I will check again.

Bragging rights will be given to the pirates who win in each of the following categories.

Enemies defeated
Ships Sunk
Black Jack hands won
Poker hands won
Each of the weapons and skills, and Notoriety increases (I will do those by approximate rep points, not by glows or levels. Rep points per the WIKI.)

Shame rights to the pirate who spends the most times in jail.

Go after one, or try to be the best at all of them.

So, post up your pirate name so I can start a scoring sheet.

Count me in. This sounds like a ton of fun and a great way to get a baby pirate on the fast track to becoming a big pirate. Which pirate I use depends on the result of a hopefully in process move of some of my pirates. If they do complete the move I'll be using Jack Stormfury, the littlest of my pirates on my long term account. If they don't complete the move the way I want I'll use Doc Hardy. Will add a note later in the week as to which pirate it is for sure.

Maximvs Marvilivs will be joining in - though I'm thinking Poker... might try for a high count but I like relaxing at the poker tables :D

You don't have to state a single category! Just give me a pirate name. Go after as many or few of the categories as you would like.

I wanna say that Murat Rais is the pirate that will be in the contest but at this point I don't know how much I'm gona use him. I guessing that the notoriety and weapon caps are gonna go up to lv50 and lv30 thats is on test right now will go live on open at the beginning of september so I might be using the big guys and gals quite a bit to remaster them.

Should we postpone this contest for another time? Now that Disney has put the update on test, new caps, etc., do we want to hold this contest for another month?

I know that if they put this on open, I personally am going to want to spend some time with the big guys and use some of that double rep , level 5 weapons quests, finish the Pearl quest, etc., and go get some rep for Basil, Prob, Purvis, and Lars. (I'm thinking that I may want to alternate between the 4 of them, not just work one at a time like I did to get them where they currently are.)

Now or later doesnt matter to me but I will be breaking Travis out of hibernation for this one!

As quickly as D has been releaseing new test material to open (ready or not) I can see the updates hitting live by sept 1st. If so, I'm breaking out the big girls and shelving Jacq for a bit. Wait and See? (is that a vote? ;) )
