8/7/2009 Update on Open?
 

I just logged into open, and I got an update that took a few minutes to load. I don't see any release notes or other reasons why it is there. Anyone else seen this?

Same thing for me Basil, I think they just fixed a few bugs.

Seems job security come to mind here alot.....

Well, we did wonder how their updates could get any more vague. They must have read our posts and tried to show us how.

There was an open update late late yesterday. They just said 'Fixed Various Bugs'.

They just said 'Fixed Various Bugs on test and put it into open.

The update last night was to find the Kraken and second story quest they added a year ago. They couldn't believe that no one was playing the second chapter.

They fixed some glitches as far as I can see !

Yup. They certainly did that one glitch. I sure did notice! LOL

Hmm, they could be doing what they did with Toontown when Bossbot HQ came out. Before BBHQ came out on Toontown, they had put in updates that the players didn't know about. Think of it as the developers at POTC had already added the new quest lines and the whole island itself in the game, they just didn't add the NPC or island to get it started though. Once again, with Toontown, BBHQ was already there, but the gate to get there wasn't put in place yet, so no one had access. That's what my guess is, though my hope is dwindling......
