Trouble "steering" my pirate
 

Before you ask, no, it has nothing to do with rum.

The problem seems to be worse when I'm near more people. If I'm standing still, I can't seem to get him to move. If I'm walking/running straight ahead, he won't stop or turn. If I rotate to look to one side, he spins in circles. All of this crazy movement continues LONG after I have my hands off the keyboard.

It's almost like the signal from the keyboard are delayed by a minute or two in getting to the game engine.

One of the worst things about it is that I can't fight worth a darn because of it, and constantly have to start over back in jail. Highly irritating.

Does it matter that I have a wireless keyboard and trackball?
