Loot Transfer Error
 

I've gotten loot on the mobile game but it wont let me transfer it to my main pirate even though at least one thing was something I didnt have. Has this happened to anyone and if so have you found a fix?

I just checked and the transfer system seems to work fine. I had a new pirate that didn't have anything and I managed to get him every loot and tune. Not sure why your having trouble so my best advice is to log out, clear your cache and restart the game. Better yet wait a day and see if it doesn't just show up all by itself. Thing get confused now and then but they have a way of working themselves out. GL

I think whats happening is that when I get loot I already have I cant transfer anything. I got something to work yesterday but only because it was the only thing I had recently looted. I also have tried what you said and that doesnt work. I only got one thing transfered to me. I had my other pirate and could transfer things I already had to her. (At least two or more of one thing)

If your pirate already has a song or loot, it can't get it again. So - transfer loots as soon as you get them, so you don't lose a needed loot because you got a bad one you can't transfer. You can give your doubles to one of your other pirates. At first I was deleting new low pirates to make room for fifth loots. Then I discovered if you let your "crew" fight a battle for you with a big ship, you can lose, and hence lose all your loot, getting rid of the bad loot that won't transfer over. I'm assuming if you sink in any way, you'll lose what loot you have, and thereby get rid of the rotten loot you don't need. Also I -think- at some point a new loot will jettison an old loot. I'm not sure how this works but it did happen to me once.
