New interview: beta will reopen "hopefully this month"?
 

MMORPG.com has a new 4-minute video interview with Disney's Mike Goslin. He says the beta will re-open "hopefully this month". (Hopefully??) He also talks a lot about stuff we already know, but you may find it worth watching:

hopefully is never a good word comming from Disney and the release of anything POTC based :(

So they are releasing the beta version in the Fall as well as releasing it to the public in the fall? Sounds like they not expecting a long beta. I guess if they release it in October, they have 2 months to fix it up and publish it before fall ends, in December.

Hmm, looks like it'll be coming out a little later. After hearing this, I wouldn't expect it to open publicly until '08! Too bad, I was hoping I could get some playing in this month. But we'll see.

That is such a bummer - every night I come home and check my email to see if I got a notice that phase 2 will open on such and such date.... this is making me crazy!

I just have this feeling we will not be testing Phase 2 this month...

You must be my long lost twin, cause I'm feeling the same thing. Weird. :D

What concerns me the most is that in the interview Mike Goslin said nothing about bugs and 45 second lag times, he said that they were just tweeking and adding story line.... I really hope that is not the case!

i hope they do a lot more than that or what's the point of a phase 2? they need to fix some of the big bugs prior to the next phase, in my opinion
