I was trying to log in and it sent me to the picture of a girl and a search engine... what happened? After contact with other members they have had the same issue all day. even as write this they can't log in. some of us will be at the court event in Kings in that room with the crates. I am sure it was not a big deal. but still. i was womdering why it had been extremly quiet all day. when other days at the same time there is a bunch of of new posts and members logged in. and today 0 posts and 3 members including me.

There were issues in regards to the sites domain. It was addressed fairly quickly, however it takes time for various ISPs to update their 'dns' tables, and then push updates to clients. Sometimes restarting the system can force an update if the ISP themselves is updated already.

Our apologies regarding any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.

Just one of those things. May take some time for people to be directed appropriately to the site (domain).

what do i tell others to do, in order for them to get access back?

Glad I'm finally back, I wasn't too good at real estate.

Restarting their computers is a good first start. Although there are ways of forcing your system to update, it can be a bit technical, and just waiting awhile and restarting their systems, even clearing browser cache/temporary files are the easiest approachs if it doesnt come back automatically.

I hate that site. I first ran into the.. uh real restate site...when I misspelled the POF site (jeez, you miss one "s" and they send you to real estate).

Isn't it absolutely mindboggling how we go through withdrawals when this site is down?

Bartholomew Foulsteel 07-17-2009 12:53 PM

Ah! THAT might explain why on SOME computers I can login and on others I can't! Moment of clarity here.

We'll never delete your account due to inactivity. We do clear our database of users that never confirm their e-mail address with us though. We find that many users will take breaks from coming to the site and return later.
