Looking for a new Guild to join....

When I began POTC long ago I joined a very promising Guild. But soon after starting POTC I had to take a few months off.I've recently started playing again, but I've noticed that my guild is practically dead.I'm interested in joining a new, strong guild.

Any suggestions?

Hey Samantha, I know this sounds like a very odd way to go about it, but when I was in the search for a guild myself here is what I did.

Get onto all the Guild threads here on the forums. There are some really great guilds out there. (Hint hint.:psmiley35:) I have yet to see one who wouldn't love a new member.

Read the guild rules and decide if you can live with them.:bookishfj7: If not then keep looking.:piratewheelgo2:

When you find a few you like try shooting off a PM to the Guildmaster. :hiuf3: The ones I wrote were very polite and friendly.

See if you can meet up with a few of your perspective guildmates. If you're not sure about the people, move on again. (This is doubtful seeing as I've run into nice people from more guilds than I can count.):buds:

This should lead you to the right guild for YOU. Believe me you'll know when you find it. 5 seconds in was all it took for me to be sure I was a Duece. Wherever you land I hope you find the right guild for you and that you're happy there!
Best of luck in your search mate!:captain:

Well, if yer looking for a large guild, the Rogues of Fortune are always hiring. Feel free to check out our sub forum, or pm me if you would like to look at our website.

Please follow The Hawke's suggestion. No guild is right for everybody. Try to find the guild YOU would like to be in the most and then contact the GM.

Good luck, mate.

I think TheHawke hit that point exactly! Check out all the guilds, read the posts, chat with them, and you will find the right one for you :)

aye aye

check the forum lists for guilds and get to know the pirates....if u like what u see, send a pm to the GM and go from there.

As Bart and everyone said, not all guilds are for everyone.

Everyone will campaign for you to join theirs, so this is a good chance to review the groups out there... and some guilds specialize. There are PvP guilds and SvS guilds in particular.

As for my own - Elite Thievery is not big, yet. We don't have a specialty area, and I'm hoping our area will be aiding newer players and taking plunder runs together... But, we're still growing.
