Highsea Pillagers Scout Award

...this award goes to anyone who recruits 5 new members for the guild. If you are in the guild and are interested in helping to recruit (and in getting that shiny award!), PM Brain or Jack I and we will send you a 5 time invite code to use!



Wait though, there are some rules to recruiting these members!



1. No Basic Access Members
This rule has a bit of leeway. When I say no random members, I mean don't just go recruit 5 basic access level 1s and 2s from Abassa in hopes of getting the award. Recruiting members that may play the game twice and never return doesn't benefit the guild at all. Now, if you see a high level member looking for a guild that just isn't paying at the moment, or they are here on POF so we can get in contact with them, I do not have an issue with recruiting them. I do feel that Basic Access members deserve the same amount of respect as the rest of us, but I do prefer to know that they're in it for the long run to invite them to the guild. :mickeypiratezd4:

2. Make sure they have good playing habits
Try playing with them some before you give them the code to join. We want to make sure we are getting people who can hold up to our motto of being a band of friendly pirates, and we can't do that if we recruit everyone we see! Just sail with them a bit, or run through a map in a crew, as long as you get a chance to see if they're going to be a true Highsea Pillager or not! :dancetl6:

3. Don't discriminate by level, name, etc.
I make it a policy and a standard of the guild not to discriminate our users by their level, weapons, name, and so forth. This guild is here for all willing to stick it out for the long run! (There is a loophole to this though, if you see a player with an inappropriate name, please do not invite them to the guild. These are violations of the POTCO House Rules, and I wish to keep the guild as family friendly as possible.) :piratewheelgo2:

To prove that you have indeed recruited 5 members, send Brain or Jack I another PM with the names of the five pirates you have recruited. We will check to see if these five members are indeed new, and if that is the case you will receive your award shortly after.
