Best Places to Watch 4th of July Fireworks

:fireworks2::fireworks3::fireworks2::fireworks3: :fireworks2::fireworks3::fireworks2::fireworks3:

It's that time again: 4th of July Fireworks. I felt like making this thread so I can share with you all, and you all can share with me the best places to watch the POTCO firework watching places.

Here's Mine: The highest point in Fort Charles. Sure a navy soldier will respawn there every now and then, but the view is worth it.

And because my uncle's a fireman, I just want to remind you all to stay safe when launching fireworks.

We used to like watching them from the Hill on Tortuga... but, sigh... its gone. =(

Ft Charles is nice - did that last year too. =)

This year, its going to be fun looking for new places!

I just heard about this today. How cool is this! Is there any time we should be on?

Best place has to be in a Night Cruise around Bay Lake after watching the Light show around the lake. The best view is right in front of WDW's Magic Kingdom on the driver's seat of a pontoon boat. I remember New Year's fireworks cruise I did. I just can't imagine the 4th of July ones. Even the tryouts they did every night before New Year's were great. If any has the chance to take a cruise around Bay Lake do it. They are worth it. Best drivers and are from The Lodge. I was one of them.

Mine was anchored just off shore of pdf. It was nice to watch them from a ship. This year, i'd probable say Fort Charles.

i went down to the docks on Tortuga and hopped up to the top of those boxes there. The show isnt that long, so dont waste time during the show looking for a better spot!

I had just happened to be killing navy veterans in Fort Dundee. I went to the highest level and had a great view.

Port Royal, Darby Drydock.
Go to the Shipwright and walk in the wooden structure but behind the shack/counter.
You can then climb up the bow to the very top of the ship. Turn around to face the island.
You should see the "Wheel" of the ship on top of the shipwrights cabin.. fireworks will be seen immediately above that (approximately).

Best view of the fireworks i've ever had in POTCO.
I made a video of them from that spot here: http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...ad.php?t=12220
