Hi Lilly and welcome :)

To answer your question, when you arrive at Cuba, behind the Shipwrite and the swamp is the entrance to see Tia. There are two - and though both will take you to her - one entrance takes you right to her swamp location, the other you have to enter and then run through her swamp to get to her.

In the game many locations you will have to run through cave / tree entrances to go to other locations once you reach an island. Tia is good practice for that :)

At Level One though, I'd hang out a bit longer in Port Royal in the Graveyard, kill a few easy undead, then kill a few soliders at the fort entrance / the Mansion before taking off too fast :)

Welcome! I think at level one, you're still in the tutorial, yes? I'm gussing you need to see Tia to get the compass, and in this case, she's on Port Royal. Does your quest say to kill three skeletons in the graveyard before seeing Tia? If so, after killing three skeletons, the ray of light will point you to the cave entrance that is in the PR graveyard. You will get a little lesson from Tia, then on to kill some navy and See Elizabeth Swan.

Don't be shy about posting any questions in the appropriate sections! We all started from square one, and have lots of advise to give. (some of us more than others...heehee)

Lilly,

Welcome!

There is a world of info and help available. Don't be shy about asking. Sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself.

Just make sure you post up rum for the mods, and no one will get hurt!

Doh! Of course - at Level 1 she wouldn't have picked up the ship yet - I'm so not awake first thing in the morning :)

Welcome Lily to the forums. Don't give up! I was very hesitent at first & even quit playing for a few months but with the encouragement of my Pixie Pirate Pals I tried again & now after 5 weeks I am at lvl 23 & my 6 other Pirates are at varying lvls from 6 to 11! So run thru the tunnel & you will get started on a great adventure!!

What Max is saying:

Ignore his advice below, do what Sarah said, post up rum for the mods to steal, and no one gets hurt! LOL

Welcome aboard, Lily!

Many an old salt here can tell you how to best navigate these waters. And you're right, the main islands have a number of locations and you can get turned around trying to find your way around.

There be tips here in the forums and there is a pirates online wiki as well out there you can look into for shortcuts and guides.

But, one of most invaluable things to have - is good mates! Crew, Guildmates or Friends who can answer questions, help you teleport to remote locations or give you back up against tough enemies. If you see myself or another member of the Elite Thievery Co. - we're happy to lend a hand, as are many of the pirates who come here.
