Thought this was interesting and wanted to share with my POF mates. Depp just seems to be an all around cool guy.

Waiter: But sir this is 4k
Depp: I know its not a lot its a tip :)

Now which celebrity is going to to it I wonder.......

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to afford to give someone a 4k tip? lol

Hmm.. Maybe I should become a waitress.. find out where Depp likes to eat, get a job there and Wahla; I'll have more gold that Jack could dream of!! :D LOL

I'm a server and I pray everyday that Johnny Depp comes into my restaurant!! lol We don't have 400 dollars worth of wine but we have a very nice selection of tequila and a few shots that cost between 40-80 dollars

Wasn't the bill like 20k? I guess that 4k was just about the good amount to tip.

It says in the article: "Once the bill came around 2:30 AM -- totaling up to a reported $4,400 -- Depp made sure the man who waited on the group into the late hours was well compensated for his time, as Mohammaed A. Sekhani reportedly received a $4,000 tip from the star."

So the bill was $4,400 and he tipped the waiter $4,000, very generous.
