Linked accounts and playing on two computers?

I have linked my family member's acct to mine so she can log into her acct - arrow over to mine and play a secondary pirate on my paid account. We've had so much fun playing together for quite some time, but she can't seem to arrow over all of a sudden. Am I missing something or did they make it so she can't play with me anymore. :sadmh9:
Please help. I'm sooooo bummed

Disney got rid of linked accounts because of so many people bybassing the ban-hammer.

I'm nearly speechless. My girl and I were VMK refugees and found POTCO to play together and we have so much fun together. She is really upset. So am I. I think I am really mad right now. Disney found gum under a couple of desks and now the class must be punished. Shame.

Aye, many pirates have felt the same way about that update.
Some even wrote to Disney to let them know how most feel.
If your interested in reading and catching up on what has happened

Thank you for those links. It seems they are being quite effective in banning families.
Does anyone know if they really are trying to find a way for families to play together? Seems a low priority for them, since it has been nearly a month.

Myself and others believe the real reason was so D can try to get more money out of us. (is it ok for me to bash D like that?)

All they had to do was just ban any aviator on the troubled account or if an account got banned restrict it so the tab wouldn't work for it.

I didn't play as a family but I did however play double as it makes it more fun for me. So my question for D is why should I have to pay twice? Why should families have to pay for each memeber of their family to play a multi player game? And if each family member has to pay for their own account to play then the price of $80 a year should be reduced to $20 a year.

Another issue with this new "update" is, I can't delete a character in the linked account. Well, I think it has always been this way, technically, but we were able to log on as the main account, switch on over to the linked account, and delete the character.. But now, that's not possible, so i'm stuck. arrrr:th_shark:

Bunky,

It has been told that if you want to play together still, their customer support can move some of the pirates to your 2nd account. But, you'd have to make it unlimited as well to not lose everything.

However, they dont tell you that you have to DELETE pirates to make room for the moved ones. No simple swapping.... which bites.

Disney blew it this time. I hardly play anymore, Im so disgusted.

You have to love the irony, banning linked accounts in the interest of family values. I mean it's base and raw irony, but it's there.

Now here's a thought... Can you log in using the same account info in two separate computers? Both login in the same account.

Not as of last week. I tried it, you get booted off.

Well that settles that. Since I saw or read anything on this specific item I thought I would ask. I assumed that the separate account thing was stopped by using the alt account.

Simple

I to am a VMK refugee and so are my children. The simple solution presents itself every time you read these threads. Pay the money and get more then one unlimited account. If this is really so devastating to your children then forgo some other family expenditure and get one or more additional unlimited accounts. A simple call to Disney will transfer the appropriate pirates to the new accounts and your back where you want to be. If this is not as important as you are making it out to be then don't waste your money but if it is that important, the money should be well spent. I'm sure I don't have to restate my position on this but if you are interested just read back over the links provided.

Does anyone know if there has been any changes in this situation? I haven't been on since June. We are busy in the summer, but I would like to know before my renewal time comes up this fall.

I won't renew if I can't play with my daughter on what I already see as too much money.

Sorry - there is no other family expenditure I can forgo considering I drive a rusted 91 buick and work 3 jobs, it was kind of a treat I could give my girl after losing the free VMK... can't afford another account. And I really don't want to pay for the one account that has become useless to me.
It's too bad. Sad.
