Is ship customization ever going to come?
 

Do you think that the big ship customization update were the 'New Ship Names'?

Or are they really going to give us what we have been paying for?

I think it will come along. However it alone is not what we are paying for.
The game falls short in alot of areas when compared to its competitors.
Love the game though, I keep praying that we will get some 'real' new features soon.

Well each day that i play POTCO i dream of being able to totally customize my ship,

not just for placement of cannons but also for being able to choose the hull, sails,

figurehead, steering wheel, amount of board side cannons and just about

everything you could imagine to customize but i also wish some day new ship types would come like theses,

East Indinaman (same ship type as the black pearl)
Vasa (looks like the Dutchman)
Ship-of-the-line (endeavor)
Xebec (ammands ship)
Brig (interceptor)

but i doubt POTCO will ever do it:mybadki6:

I have faith in Disney... I think eventually Ship customization will come out. Its the when that I am unsure. Plus, if you look at the coming attractions and videos that they have on the sight, some of the scenes with ships hint to customization. For instance, on ship has lanterns place about the ship.

At the rate the Big-D is going...... don't bet for quite some time.

Haha, I think it'll come eventually. The question is...will it come before all the stuff we want, or after?

They are taking their time abit with things that we have requested, so at this rate, I be thinking itll be 2009 'fore it gets here.

You have to remeber the longer they hold up there 'Update' the closer POTCO is to being out of business

Its been mentioned by GMs in game that Ship Custom is "low on their list" (not worded that way - but basically meant that way). There's a few posts on it in the Grog Blog as well, where it mentions that its on the list - but not for some time.

Inbetween making Cog HQs the toontown devs added in other things life racing, gag trees, golfing, etc... I think we'll see the same with POTCO. It may not be at the top of their list but I believe it will come out faster than we think it may.

Let's pretend that the second story came out to the open server today. Now let's also pretend that there are no bugs.(like that won't happen) Then while they're working on the next story quest they could also find the time to work on ship customization. For all we know ship customization could come six months after the next story quest. That's just a rough estimate though.

I'm sure we'll see ship customization. It may take a while but if it's on their list it's probably going to come to the game at some point in time.
