Urgent news for pirates that completed the father's day quest!
 

ATTENTION ALL PIRATES THAT COMPLETED THE FATHER'S DAY QUEST!

Because of the bug in which older pirates couldn't do the Father's Day Quest, Disney's Pirates Online Staff has reset the Father's Day Quest entirely with the last update. So, if were able to get and complete the Father's Day task BEFORE the update that took place on June 18th, 2009 at 12AM- 3AM PST, you now have the chance to do the Father's Day Quest AGAIN! This means that you can earn an additional 3 hours of double reputation time by completing the task again! The task is still exactly the same, so everyone who can; TAKE ADVANTAGE! You only have until the 21st! Remember, you get 3 hours of online game time with the double reputation, meaning you only lose time when you're online on the avatar that completed the task. Also remember the task starts when you see Captain Jack Sparrow at the Rowdy Rooster Bar on Port Royal. Have fun with the 6 hours of double reputation!

fathers day quest glitch
 

i did, out of curiosity, tried to do the fathers day quest again:pirate2: and to my surprise, i found out i could do it again:psmiley27::psmiley27: so that just means more rep and i leveled my nades to level 20, the cause of this glitch, was disney. because they made it so that people who did the quest last year could do it this year, so you can do it multiple times on one pirate:buds::buds::psmiley35:

edit: only works if you didnt do the quest last year

I have now been able to pick it up on all my pirates, even those that did it last year.
Also, one pirate that had finished the quest portion (Still has the 2X bonus on) was able to pick up the quest again. Wouldnt that be cool if i could get 4x? hehe

I'm sure if you did the quest before the reset you can do it again. I am not sure you can do it more then once again though. While it is very possible to stack 2x and 2x I don't think you can do it again after that since disney didn't reset it again each night. I might be wrong so keep posting here for updates tomorrow.

Tried the stacking theory, doesn't work with me.

I tried stacking to x8 tonight, didnt work for me :(
Still got 4x rep on both swash II and Swashy tho.

I also tired the "stacking theory" in my last 15 mins on a whim, and yes I got 4x rep. I think I wasted 3 mins in shock after getting 1k rep from just talking to an NPC. However, it did not work on test.

I tried the stacking, I still only have 2x rep, and how did you get the quest a third time?
