I have a question for ye beta people!
 

I wish I was a beta but Im not... I have one simple question...Is the game lik WoW?Please tell me every thing about the game!Thanks!

I'm not on beta (at least I don't think so) but I would find it difficult to compare any game to any. I mean it is an MMORPG so they have that in common, but I don't know what else.

Actually it is quite a bit like WOW, or any other role playing adventure type game.
They have done an excellent job in portraying the islands of the POC as shown in the movies.
I miss the animated actor voiced cut scenes we had a while back. I hope they put them back.
I'm a little nervous about Phase Two...wondering if my pirates will be there when I log in, or if I will have to start fresh for each phase.

Will I be able to get a key in phase two?

I have no way of knowing, but you could try asking for one. It couldn't hurt.

Yeah, Pirates is a bit like WOW.

WOW has more features and more developed graphics though, because it has
been around longer. I wish Pirates Online had guild headquarters, pets, your
guild's title above your head, and all that other awesome stuff.

The best way to compare it is this take WOW then strip all the commands out kill all the toolbars and half the skills then you get what we have been playing.. now I am sure that when the new game is relased for testing it will be all differnt.. I mean we couldnt even send a tell to antoher player in game unless u found them and clicked on them first.. but hey look if anyone here was around 4 years ago durring the WOW and SWG test phases look WOW went through 6 phases before going live.. so I am sure we have tons of stuff to look forward to.. at least the graphics arent too disney like.. I am hoping though since they just killed all our accounts so that al the people who signup for phase 2 keys will be on the same lvel as us I hope they fix the creation system a little and give us more clothing options lol...

How many phases Pirates will have?

Colbella, they said that "Phase 2 will open in September, with the game coming out in the Fall" Now we know they didn't stick to there Spring date, but I think after Phase 2 they will be ready.

We can't tell you all about the game, but we can tell you it is very very good ;) It has an extremely user-friendly interface.

Sames. I was expecting eye patches and peg legs.

But I also hope we can at least change our clothes. Don't want to look the same
all the time, hahaha.

Yeah, after Phase 2, PotCO should finally be ready for release, but I guess you can never be too sure, seeing as though they've already pushed back the release date a few times.

I'm looking forward to a fresh start in Phase 2 though. Especially if they do add new options, like a change of clothes. Also, I'm sure they will be giving out new beta keys for Phase 2, in order to gain more testers as well as test the strength of the server itself, so when Phase 2 comes out, you might want to email them and request a key.

it is really fun to play, but we can't tell you too much about the game, it's the rules, sorry
