Dearest Dueces and POF
 

Dear POF,


I know it has been a very rough day in the Caribbean today. Understandably many are upset, and the whole outlook of this site is falling quickly. I just wanted to make a positive impact on a not so positive day.

I love my guild Dueces Wild. I love the people, I love the jokes, I love the events. As much as pirates is slowly dying, I am so glad I decided to join this past april, and found a great guild by pure accident.

I just thought it would help to bring some happiness to the forums. If anyone else has happy thoughts, feel free to bring them here for a needed break

This is really cool and thoughtful of you. The thing I like most in this game are the positive friendships and fun that everyone can have. Parties, sailing, questing, helping others lvl in tormenta, so much fun :)

I think things will turn out fine. The game is going through a rough patch now so always have hope.



p.s:I assume when you say if anyone has thoughts, u mean just anyone on pof not just Dueces Wild.

Thank you for trying to push the clouds of frustration aside. It can be very difficult to keep your chin up many others are gloomy.

Even the DW get upset about the changes in the game, but it's only because we love to play it. Basil's original post on the reason's why he thought Disney let us down was posted at least 6 months ago if not longer, and he's still here. The Dueces are still here and work hard to find innovative ways to make the game fun for the guild.

I too enjoy this game and love it, and Im not ready for it to be taken away. I have played POTCO for quite some time now, and have met many people that have been really nice and helped me out. It isn't fair for us if pirates dies away; how are we suppose to keep in touch with our friends? But in the end, maybe pirates will pull through this mess they made.

It is a great game, and all of us have formed such good friendships. DW is only one of a ton of great guilds. I'm glad you posted this.

And thank goodness for POF too! I mean, without it, things would be a ton different. I care to venture that many of us would have left long ago without our pirate outlet.

WOOT! As far as I'm concerned, as long as I can log on to the game and act silly, I'm happy. I mean... that's what I do anyways. Jumping on boxes, hiding in bushes, playing tag with my fellow guild members...

I enjoy the comraderie of DW so much, and the help offered, along with the friendship. What a great group of people! I don't think real pirates ever hugged anybody, much less each other, but here's a cyber hug for all of ya!:rumgt7:
