Phase 1 ends July 16
 

I got this email that said phase 1 beta will end on july 16 and phase 2 starts in September. does that mean we wont be able to play? are they shutting it down and we cant get back on till phase 2 starts in september? Whats gonna happen to our pirates we made? :jacksparrowvswillzu

I was wondering the same things myself.

Well, yes we are going to be kicked out at least I think so. They will probably be updating the game a bunch during those two months without us being on it. I can probably guarentee our pirates will be gone too.

It sucks we lose our characters but one ray of light shines in all this.......The cuban gang all lose theirs too. All that hard work to become the elite during a beta test was for naught. Had to gloat about it to one of em last night and they didn't even respond. Must be hard on a group of guys like them who thought they had so much "control" . That alone will keep me smiling until the beta part 2 returns in Sept. Until then I wish them nothing but the best......of the worst that could happen to any of em.:laughks2:

I can't even get in today! Anyone else not able to sign in? I thought there was another week to Phase one.

Yes, we still have until July 16th. The reason you are having troubles logging in could be due to several things. Keep trying.

We, most likely, won't lose our characters. Last time they updated the game build, I was able to retrieve my pirates.

Ah, but now they are closing for more than a month. A lot of changes could be
done in that time, if you ask me. Even if they do let us keep our characters, so
much stuff could be added that we would have to make new ones.

Plus, there are all these bugs in our quests.

Going from one phase to another in most MMO's means character wipe.

I, for one, will be missing all of my pirate buddies, but look forward to completing quests!:dancetl6:

EDIT: after a few hours(5 i think),its still open. just retry to connect.

I am in total agreement brotha. Its comforting to know that, come Phase 2, us pirates will finally be able to sail Cuban waters without having to keep a watchful eye out for their gang.

I can imagine that the first day of Phase 2 will be quite hectic though, considering the number of guilds intent on traveliing to Cuban waters to level up faster than the Cuban Gang.

I'm definitely going to work solely on my sailing exp at the beginning of Phase 2, just so that I'll have the ability to stand up for myself when the Cuban Gang re-ups their bullying status (bcuz you know they will, especially if Disney keeps deciding to act like nothing's happening).

I emailed the crew and they said we'll lose our pirates. Oh well, hopefully we'll be able to find our hearties in Phase 2! Hey, we found 'em in Phase 1.

I don't mind losing my pirate as long as I can go farther with the quests.
