gold glitch
 

Does anyone know a gold glitch i know something go to fuego and go to skull's thunder and bid 500 gold and cheat but make sure u dont cheat to get blackjack, but i will go to jail once in a while but i wanted to know if there is any gold glitches :buds: :piratear: :bookishfj7: :mybadki6: P.S my gold glitch is not a real glitch, lol :TailorsBullet:

I know of no glitchs to get gold, however going to padres where the limit is raised to 500, and playing blackjack, and using cheat cards efficiently can earn you alot of gold fast.

You can use cheat cards to get any hand you want, including blackjacks, I do it all the time.
You only get caught if you use card that is already been played or is played on the same hand after you play yours. The dealer "sees" 2 of the same card, and therefore catchs you cheating.

Here's how you do Gold Glitch,

Go to Padres Del Fuego, and purchase 2 of those long plain vests. Then click on sell for both of them, but DON'T PRESS CONFIRM!!! then go to the store items menu, then back to Your Items and you will see that one of the vests that you're going to sell says sell again. keep repeating the step for lots of gold!

Note: Don't go over 65, 000 gold or it won't work.

This doesnt work, it does not allow you purchase two of the same garments.
It doesnt prompt you even to confirm unless your changing the colors of the garment.
Just lost a few k gold testing it, oh well.

Ok, I was mistaken, it does work, but the instructions were a little hard to follow.

Heres how I got it to work.

1. Buy 1 of the long vests that you can choose color of, pick any color (cost: 1000 gold) Note: anything you can change color on will work, but this will give the most.
(Note: Female pirates dont have this clothing item, but they can use the shirt they can select colors for, and costs 1000 gold instead)
2. Exit the tailor menu completely. (this is what I did not do earlier, if you dont, it wont let you buy a 2nd of the same vest)
3. Reenter the tailor menu.
4. Buy 1 more of the long vests (or shirt for girl pirates) that you can choose color of, pick any DIFFERENT color (cost: 1000 gold)
5. Go to My Items tab
6. Click Sell on both of these vests, DO NOT CLICK SELL IN BOTTOM CORNER.
7. Click on Store Items tab, then click on My Items tab.
8. You will be able to click "Sell" on one of the two vests again, adding 1 more to the sell list (It will now list 3 vests for sale, even if you only have 2)
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you get as much gold as you want back (if the total exceeds 65k gold, you will only get 65k total gold.. the maximum still exists). Each time you do so it will add a vest to the sell list, even when you dont have that many vests.
10. Click "SELL" button in bottom corner, and have fun with your gold!

I repeated steps 7 and 8 until it was going to give me 10500 for the sale. Not bad considering I paid 2000 for the original vests.
And it did give me the 10500 when I clicked the final SELL button.

This glitch currently will work in open, but not in test. So I am guessing when the new updates go to open it will be fixed.

Verified, gerrich is correct, it does NOT work on test, so they have this one fixed.
Abuse/use it while you can pirates... we are pirates.. are we not?

Once latest updates go to open, itll be gone.

I think if you have a open pirate who not close to max gold then do it before it goes.:dancetl6:

For the record to avoid any negative feedback, if I had found this working on TEST, as a dedicated tester, I would have reported it.
I was glad it appears to be fixed on TEST as I didnt want to have to write up the report lol, but I would have!

You guys are funny. First you post that you're annoyed that you have maxed gold and don't know what to do with it, wish the levels were higher, etc. Then you find a glitch that lets you max it out even faster. :laughks2:

I have never once heard a complaint about having max gold and having nothing do to with it.

The complaints have all been about lack of content and limits put on notoriety/weapon levels, and no quests to further our pirates and the story line.
This glitch has nothing to do with maxing out your pirate even faster...

Its about getting gold... not that big a deal at all, and noone's really getting excited over it either, I dont get excited about any of them, I report them.

The only excitement I got out of it was thinking we had someone telling a tall tale that would just cause gold seekers to lose more gold, and if that was the case deemed removal from the forums.

LOL there is always someone to give gold away to!
