Just curious as to why, anyone can get there, even a basic pirate in a light sloop just start sailing, and dont turn around, its every direction... the outskirts of the game map. Its really just the games boundaries that little message is all you get from it, and I dont think anyone sees it except the one sailing the ship.

dog hook 05-14-2009 07:52 PM

your right, people don't believe me on public so I let them take the wheel and see for them self

joker78217821 05-14-2009 11:48 PM

That sounds annoying and somewhat mean. Direct that anger towards the Navy or EITC, not poor noobs trying to lvl and plunder.

Sarah 05-14-2009 11:59 PM

What is annoying and mean about letting someone take the wheel of your ship so they can see the "end of the world" message for themselves?

Captain Seaford 05-15-2009 02:42 AM

If you sail too far out a Kraken should pull your ship down...that would be cool!

joker78217821 05-15-2009 06:01 AM

Sorry, I'll clearify. In my younger pirate levels I have been on public ships where the captain steamed directly towards the edge of the map and stayed there. Everyone was there to loot or level and the captains seemed to get a kick out of going out there and not engaging other ships. Rereading dogs post I see he was taking people there that wanted to see it, not like my hostage experiences. So I humbly apologize to dog.

I agree.. that would be cool. Or even a gigantic waterfall that you fall down then respawn somewhere else... like in the movie:mickeypiratezd4:

He He He... Press 'Shift' to Fall off, probably Die, Go to the locker as wher you where headed to anyways, but you just happened to have gone insane when you where in the locker. I'll get disney right on it.

Good luck with that! I doubt your suggestive powers are that influential.

There used to be a ship timer, and if you were at sea too long you would sink.... Guess they couldnt figure out a way to keep that with SvS implementation.

Captain Seaford 05-19-2009 02:45 AM

Yeah I've noticed the ship timer has been gone too. I don't know why they even had it.

There's a dark line on the horizon. Perhaps that's the line to the next world?
