So, I was walking around Port Royal one night, when I see someone with this symbol over his head. I think it says x2 rep, but I'm not too sure. Anyone know what this symbol is, and how to get it if it is something good?

It was a special event they had last year (Father's Day?) where when you logged in, for the specified period of time you got double the Reputation Points on everything you killed/sank.

To expand on that, you had somthing like...four? five? hours of double rep time (sorry can't remember the exact amount) Looks like this player didn't use up all the time, and has a bit left. Guess they haven't played in a while ;)

Yes Sarah is right it was a 4 hr time limit for Fathers day double Rep quest ........ Just menas that perosn got it and did not log back in the game in a very very long time...LoL. Maybe Disney will ahve again this year so you might see it again soon for father's Day .. One never knows.

Yeah ...it will be in the update patch normally .. so they will annouce it ..So everyone will have a chance to get in on it...Thats what they normally do .

That is the Double REP Fathers Day Prize. When you help Jack and his Father on Father's Day, you are rewarded with your own personal 3 Hour "Double REP Badge" (hence what you see in the Picture there...). The badge is as good as the pirate isn't used - so for example if I get the Badge and then log the pirate out - then don't play that pirate for 10 months... when I do play it the Badge would still be there (but... the 3 hours would run by quick... and each minute your logged in it counts down).

Everything killed in those three hours is your own personal "Double REP" time. Note, its only 3 hours... I didn't get 4 :)

I was not sure if it was 4 or 3....it was a long time sense i got mine last year ,,,,,,Sorry.

Double XP weekend. This was last year on Fathers Day. They seemed to have kept the quest and just finished it recently...

Not very likely, the code is still in the game from last year (thats why the pirate can see the 2xp icon still from time not yet used), they just have to turn it on when they want that quest/reward available again. If their pattern remains, on fathers day more than likely.. Just another example of the repetitivness and lack of new content btw... ;)
