UA Membership outside the U.S
 

Are you able to buy Unlimited Access Membership outside the U.S if you use the PayPal credit card method? I'm curious about this.
Also, is it heard of to be suspended for 24 hours for cursing in game?

24 hours for cusing out of game, 72 for cursing in game. Remember the big "D" is listening.

So they have a swear filter which has no real purpose and hides words like "one" and other harmless words to certain players.

So I thought the filter was pretty hard core... until I saw a guildmate of mine describing something about 2 wks ago and accidentally said "half butt" (the REAL spelling)... forgot if it was hyphenated or not, and it was NOT filtered with "arrr" nor was it italicized rofl, I was like "omg thankfully no kids were around" LOL

There are a number of ways you can probably get UA membership.

Have a good friend in the states? Coordinate sending them reimbursement and have them send you a game card code (which they purchased with your money).

It can be risky, but I dont see $10 as being that risky, considering most good friends already have each others contact information (dont pass it in game, or on POF, this can get you in trouble).


Um... they do not and cannot incur any discipline for actions OUTSIDE of the game, unless your referring to something on their site, and well, thats still very doubtful.

They definately can and will for being inappropriate in the game.
Most suspensions are 72 hours, the severity of which determines wether you have to call them to get reactivated, or just wait out the suspension.

I'm outside of the US and I have no problem getting UA membership. Go through Paypal, Visa, whatever, I still find that it works.

Yep i'm in jolly old England and have paid up until recently by paypal. Then I had snags with it so switched to credit card. The only thing I found is that it doesnt give you the option of putting in our post code so had to choose a US one LOL. :psmiley35:
The payment was still taken ok and apart from that everything else has run smoothly.
