Gm Freinds?

Is it possible to befriend gm's or join the merciline guild? If so, how?

Maximvs 05-05-2009 04:59 PM

The GMs do not friend general players within the game - they usually will give a friendly reply as to why, but nothing beyond that. :)

Unfortunately it is not possible (to my knowledge). I have inquired as to why you cannot join the Marceline guild before and they said that Captain Walter was a harsh GM.

The marceline is a disney staff group. They all work for disney.

Why would they even promote their guild in the first place if no one is going to be allowed?

I see your point TSC, and it's a valid question, but I think D is just promoting guilds in general. From what little interaction I've had with The Marceline folk, they really are just fluff for POTCO.

btw, did you know that Walt Disney was from Marceline, MO? Captain Walter...Walt Disney...kind of cute actually.

Useless trivia done ;)

lol.. that's pretty neat :) Never noticed that before......

I dont believe the GMs will friend regular players (or invite them into the GM guild), as it creates an aura of favoritism that Disney is best served in avoiding.

It's simple really... If they befriended us, then we would be able to teleport to them. And we all know that could be bad, especially if they are in the middle of trying to "catch" the Kraken with the Game Developers... Why, our unannounced appearance could mess everything up and we would have to wait even longer to come face to face with said beastie ;)

I don't get it. They may as well promote hats. What kind of hat do you have? Does your hat have a name? Do you kiss it for good luck and lick it clean when it gets dirty?

*rolls eyes*

Interesting trivia.

But, I agree. It's useless, all they're doing is getting paid to log on for 10 minutes and tell us new stuff is coming.

Point seen

What the GMs did with the EITC raids is what any other pirate with a war frigate could have done.

Accept there was a flaming skull over there head
