Mmmm. Seeking.

Ayyyy!

It's time for me to be Looking for a Permanent home for myself, under some terms. :)

- There is structure to the guild. Ranks don't suck.
- Ranks aren't just given out like candy in a van.
- Members are mature.
- ABSOLUTELY NO RUM... (Can't expect that.) :D

Anyways, Looking for a Guild, if you so happen to own a guild with that criteria, please feel free to let me know the details.

Thanks,
Captain Jack Stormshot

Theres always guilds recruiting and you can check some of them out.
My guild, Onyx destroyers is newish and is always welcoming members PM for more details.

The Skirata Clan 04-28-2009 01:12 AM

I would suggest read on the guild threads to find one you think is right for your needs. Because then all of us like good pirates are going to say join me.

The Commodore 04-28-2009 01:12 AM

Aye, as Swash said. The rogues are always open as well.

Jack Stormshot 04-28-2009 01:23 AM

I'm a Pirate of Honor. I would expect the same out of all guilds to talk good about theirs :)
That's the whole idea of Recruiting.

Swash 04-28-2009 01:27 AM

I would reccomend you choose one of the larger guilds such as the ones with Sub-Forums as they seem to be the best ones to join.

The Skirata Clan 04-28-2009 01:38 AM

Most guilds like The Rogues and us The Mandalorians have their guidelines in their recruitment posts. My guild is in a rebirth process while The Rogues are in full blown expansion.

Not nessicaraly true. Every pirate finds a fit somewhere. Look through the threads, the sub forums, and if you find one that looks like a match, then give it a try. Sometimes the smaller guilds are a good match, sometimes the larger ones. Take a look around, I'm sure you will find one to your liking.

I could use a lieutenant or something for my Guild Circuit idea or something. I dunno how it would work or anything, but hey, it's an idea right? Anywhoo, Skirata and Commodore have both sort of joined and did nothing so far, but hey, that's in progress too. I could use help establishing some more arms or organizing some of the Leagues that are also in progress.

All that being said (nothing being substantive), The Guild Circuit isn't exactly a guild as much as it is a body of guilds to say. It's somewhat permanent and permanent, not-so-much.

Check out the guilds here on POF and see which of them seem to be the type of guild YOU would like to be in. Then PM the GM and see if ye can join.

Good luck, mate!

As Sarah said, not always true. I know several guilds that are great to join, but don't meet the subforum criteria.

ABSOLUTELY! Don't make the mistake of thinking that a subforum means that that guild would be any better for you than say, The Parrotheads, or The Rogues, or The Mandalorians. Check out their posts and talk to the GM. Find the fit that's right for YOU.

Happy hunting, mate.

AdmiralSavvy 04-29-2009 01:10 AM

Aye, the size of the guild doesn't matter at all. All that matters is if YOU like it or not.
Best of luck! =)

Tottally agreed :) Several of these Guild have been putting in huge efforts recently and though they do not have the guidelines for their own sub-form as of yet - they definitlely deserve a look along with the Sub-Fourm Guilds.

Good luck in finding a home :)
