War Galleon or War Frigate
 

Should i get a war frigate or should i keep my war galleon.:SkullBullet1:

It's really personal preference... why don't you just keep the galleon AND buy the frigate?

That all depends.. Are ye looking for gold? Are you planning on selling the war galleon for the war frigate? Which ship do ye like better? WHat do you plan on using it for?

Yeah I agree with what Jason said, why don't you just get one of each and while your at it get a war sloop for the complete set? If you don't have enough gold at the moment then just play more until you do have enough. As an aside, I have a pirate that has 3 War Galleons all named the same. I use him to go sailing and when one ship gets dinged up I just launch another. Very helpful on those days when you are landing on Outcast then launching out to board the flag colossus repeatedly. Do that for a while and you can afford any ship you want.

ok... ive changed my opinion greatly... i have to say that a war frigate is better for this reason: the cargo is only 2 spaces less then war galleon... health is 3 times as good, better speed, more cannons, more crew, better looking...

war frigate for me..

i like to have a war frigate for battles and cargo, a light sloop for speed and traveling, a light frigate for it just being cool

Frigate is great for large crews and Galleon is actually better for solo sailing. Since for solo sailing you need broadsides and armor and Galleon has that.

The Frigate's heavy deck gun power and broader firing angles make it much suitable for gunners.

I got the Galleon first and held onto it, since Big Bertha can haul in so much more cargo - it didnt take too long before I could buy the frigate and complete the set. And, maybe you should look into playing more cards for that gold.

Go with the War Frigate. It is much more user friendly for solo sailing. I used to like them equally well, but now that you have to change deck levels to get to the Galleon's Captains cannons - thanks to the last update - I only use the War Frigate.

I'm with Kid here. I was a die hard galleon fan. Till the new update. Now, there is no point in having a galleon except to sail with a crew. Go with the frigate if you ever intend to solo sail.

With the galleon you have 4 more on the broadsides and 4 more cargo. The frigate has about 2000 more armor and 4 more cannons.

Thats the facts, my opinion is that I hate being a gunner on a galleon as I can never seem to get a shot. This could be due to a Capt. who is unaware of his gunners needs and keeps the ship to straight on to the target. That being said it isnt a problem with a frigate, also your crew can see whats coming up and get on the right side without having to be told or watch compass.

I prefer the frigate myself and sold my galleon shortly after I bought it so I could put a lite sloop back in my line up.I also SvS alot and the frigate can be used there while the galleon most of the time ends up being a big floating target. Get a friend to let you drive his frigate and see what YOU think before you sale your galleon and lose half that hard earned gold though.

I hate how they updated the galleon. But I still LOVE it. I've never actually driven a War Frigate but Im saving up. I want the the whole set.

I have the whole set and the Galleon is now all but useless...

Why did they put the helm on a deck WITHOUT a cannon??? Do these people not even PLAY this game??

Solo Sailing Mr. Developer... Lots of people do it and like to alternate between cannon and broadsides...

Perhaps the ships are being intentionally messed up. It would make customization that much more critical...

the war frigate is still the best.... it only lacks broadsides.. BUT its cargo is not bad at all.... its 16 comapred to the 18 of the war galleon
