Help with sailing level
 

Sailing level up is hard right now im on lvl 13 and i can barely get rep from an ogre and ive been stuck with a frigate for idk how long but is there a easy way to lvl up sailing

best way to get more rep in sailing is to have a crew ask some friends to come with u set sail from padres and per trip if i fight the easy way buy just stopping where ur crew can fire at the npc ship will bring it closer to u them use a few board sides and u should get like 100 rep but u should have a crew of about 4-6:piratewheelgo2:

Making ship public or having a good crew definitely helps. I'm pretty sure you get sailing rep for your cannoneers shooting ships, so having people on your cannons is a must.

I hate public because random noobs come aboard and they just try to get free rides to tortuga. And they fire at everything and theres no point in telling thme to stop :7c810c6517:

But every once in a while a decent pirate comes and helps out a bit.

Aye sailing be tough.. but like Jason and Toanuju22 said before me, A strong crew makes all the difference. Perhaps there are also friends that own wars that could help you? It never hurts to ask.. but keep in mind not to ask more then once. Many a pirate be busy and one must always respect that. But if your lucky you'll catch someone looking for a good sail who might just need to work on cannons (which would earn you even more rep)! If ye ever catch Maria in game I'd be more than happy to lend ye my war galleon and come along for the ride! (Juliana doesn't have herself a war yet but she be close!)

I'll help you bud, I need help with cannons.

I myself find it's quite difficult. I only have a light galleon, as I'm not quite partial to sailing because I find myself sinking more often than not. However, I have gained a few levels just by having a lot of patience, and going out a bit. I don't like going out with a crew, because dying is almost a certainty in my light galleon, but my point is that perseverance is probably key.

what you do is add your sailing level to your normal level and what you get is the level ships you should be fighting

make ship available on public is fun,. reason :

1st : Chance to got new friend who really good ( u will had chance find me, yay .. LOL )
2nd: u sometimes hear a free jokes
3rd : u can got + 50% rep, ask ur crew take down enemy sail first
4th : if u didnt had war ship, maybe one of ur crew had it,. so u can steer it
5th : u say there some noob just only for ride to some island,. say u will be sent them there if cargo no more crates,. its a good deal. btw,. some basic lvl sometimes bring luck,.
6th : dont too long on sea,. crew will be bored,. at least they wanna full royals
