How Long Does It Take For You To Finish The Game?

:SkullBullet1:Ok this means that when did you get all weapons and finish the main boss battle that is out (Black Pearl Battle). For me about a year, how about you? You can select multiple answers or post your answer.:12_1_138::pirate2:

One of my pirates completed the pearl quest in under a month. It was not my first pirate and back then the ships were in very predictable spots so that finding them for quests was much easier. Just as an average, I have completed 6 pirates and I just had my yearly renewal 2 weeks ago. Having said that, there is no reason to rush to mastering and completing the pearl quest. I only did it as a personal challenge not because it was fun or because it was the best way to do it. If you decide to start a new pirate don't get too wrapped up in how "fast" your going, just have fun and the reps will follow naturally.

It took me about 3 months to hit level 40, master all weapons excluding grenades (were 21 at the time) and do a majority of the mini quests.

I think it took me 3-4 months to hit 40, then i took time off and came back to finish mastering all the weapons.

I did this in about 3 months, maybe less. I finished weapons/notoriety in about another 2 months.

4 monts roughly to get to the BB and about another month or two to get fully mastered. Currently working on second pirate on fully mastering

Basil Dreadflint 04-16-2009 08:02 PM

My first: 7 months to full master. (4 months for everything but Nades, then 3 months to bring nades from level 16 to 25.)
My second: 9 weeks. (Did this while still working on my first. My first experiment, see how fast it could be done, and with the fewest number of enemies and ships defeated.)
My third: Fully mastered in 4 months, but never did the Boss Battle, cause he is only 2% done with the Pearl Quest. (was an experiment to see if you could fully master without doing the Pearl quest.)
My fourth, level 33 in about 3 months. (Another experiment, trying to keep all weapons and skills dead even, and progress on the Pearl quest in exact proportion to everything else.)

A lot of these are overlapping time frames, too. I was working on more than one pirate at a time.

i played this game when it came out first my founder account got messed up then a new account so it took me along time a year

Although I haven't technically "finished" the game (I still have the privateering quests to complete), it took me 11 months to go from a brand-new first-time player to fully-mastered on all weapons, level 40, and complete all quests (minus what I posted above).

I'm not a serious gamer--I get a little time in the morning before work. I sometimes get on in the evenings for a bit--usually no more than an hour. Weekends I tend to get about 3-4 hours of time in the morning, so compare my times to yours to gauge when it will "happen" for you.

Took me 5 months to do the first one, then I hung out on him for about a month and then made the second...

He took about 4 months then I hung out on him for some time (like two or three months) then I made the other two almost at the same time...

But - they are going slower as work has been keeping me busy many nights the last 8 weeks so these ones are looking like 6 months each (maybe one by summer - one before I go to Disney again in December).

MacIronhawk 04-16-2009 11:25 PM

I'm still on my first pirate. I don't want to end up like one of those people who have four mastered pirates with nothing to do.

I beat the Pearl Quest in four months but I don't think of that as beating the game. I consider beating the game mastering your pirate and all of your weapons.

Sarah 04-16-2009 11:39 PM

How long? Not a clue. Started playing day one, and I've got three pirates at lev 40, two finished the BB, one not. NONE of them have fully mastered grenades (I think lev 20 is high enough ;) ), but all are maxed on all other weapons. Pirate Four is pushing lev 33.

First one was a total mess up, but quite the learning experience. Two went quickly, and three took her sweet time. Four is trying a combo weapons/quest adventure, but not worried about finishing fast.

Took Maria around 11 months or so... I tend to chat alot ...lol... hopefully Juliana won't take as long.. She's already leveling fast with all the help from her new guild BBK (thanks guys!! :D)

davy redflint 04-17-2009 12:05 PM

took about 6 to 7 month to lvl 4 pirates to 40.......havnt been playin much ..still waiting on big d to upgrade the game

Sven Niscadae 04-17-2009 01:18 PM

I haven't fully mastered any of my 2 pirates yet (started playing around May/June of last year). Sven's completed his Pearl quest but still hanging around at level 36. I have mastered sailing and cannons only because it's my favorite part of the game. I'm not the type to see how fast I can "master" my pirate. That just ends up with having "nothing to do" later on (though with the right friends, there's always something to do - sometimes doing things that don't involve rep gain at all). A lot of people see the level caps as goals they need to complete right now. I just play the game. I'll get experience and level up my skills when it happens.
