What "NEW"(redone) island is your favorite?
Which redone island is your favorite, Port Royal, Tortuga, or Padres Del Fuego? Please post why.
Tortuga... hands down.
I honestly have not had enough time getting lost on any of them to vote just yet. I think they all have unique features......I'll post again after I've had more time to explore.
Port Royal. It's really the only "new" island that I actually like the layout of.
Port Royal definitly, It added new things to the island without getting rid of the mere feel of the island. If you smell what im cookin' ;)

Port Royal cause, like Erich said, the island still has that PR feeling to it, but with some improvements, not bad....
I thoroughly enjoy the new PDF!!! It is alittle darker and more erie! I love it, perfect for a pirate game!
Is it me or New PDF has earthquakes?

I mean, it's a volcano, so I guess it would kinda make sense. |
I haven't seen the volcano erupt. Did they take that out??? I thought it was really cool..:(
Eh, I'd say port royal and pdf are tied, port royal for the way the did fort charles, I thought that was nice. but pdf had a little erieness to it, but its in danger of winning my vote for its difficulty of exploration.
Port Royal. Something about its whole layout in general makes the island feel quite realistic, as it really fits the "Caribbean-ish" and "piratey" moods.
Port Royal definitely has the best qualities IMHO...seems to have everything and is laid out in a grand manner.
PDF does have Earthquakes and is a bit spooky...not that it is a bad thing. But, I feel the need to check over me shoulder there, every now and then... Tortuga is, well Tortuga...seems like alot of running around to get things done there. |
currentl, i would have to go with port royal. i like the new pdf, but the old one was fine. now, if they redo cuba and add some new shops and npc's, that will probably take the lead..for me.
