basic access hints....
 

i have seen hints that are really weird lately now that im basic again. theyve been saying things like "with unlimited access you can get upgraded weapons like the double barrel pistol." and i dont understand if they trying to sell unlimited to people [actually I do] and ive wondered what fellow basic access members have seen on the hints.

My friend has a basic account and sees the same ads. Some of them are on the main site as well. They are hinting for you to take out your credit card. As far as new content is concerned...they have been working on it. ETA unknown at this time.

unlimited access is only good becasue it is actually pretty cheap compared to other games but all the difference is ships story and weapons but people max those things fast so it can get kind of boring after a while. But I would hang in there and hope for an update. St.patricks day gave hint to the kracken coming soon.

LoL I find all the little hints quite comical, mainly because I have all the level 20 weapons and am on basic access now since I let my unlimited run out. I still find it odd, I lost all my cool clothes but I still have all my weapons (minus nades and staff I still have them just cant use them). If you fully master a pirate you can find just as much to do on basic as unlimited, just with a tiny screen.

Can you use cutlass combos beyond cleave?

How much stuff is locked?

I believe everything is locked requiring a weapon level greater than 6.

If you have been saving your skill points you can only spend 6 of them on a weapon though once it has reverted back to basic. If you have done spent the skill points on the basic skills before you quit unlimited they are still there, they may not be active, but it does show them as being in the skills.
