KH next?
 

It seems they're redoing the bigger islands that have longer sight lines/open spaces. With the missing textures all over KH, I am guessing it will be next. Though Cuba is also a good candidate, KH has a lot of potential for redesign and enclosing the different areas.

I wonder what the story line will be of KH being destroyed/rebuilt......Pirates take revenge at KH? We shall see........

Story line? How about Vicious goes beserk and destroys everything in his path on KH? Well, it would be funny...AYE?

Kingshead wouldn't be part of the EITC attacks because it's run by the EITC. Why would they blow up there own island? Probably what they're gonna do is redo some islands and then when kingshead is redone they'll say the pirates assaulted kingshead with a fierce fleet and destroyed it and then it will say the Navy rebuilt it and that a new kingshead has risen from the ashes.

Oh gosh, I hope it's not KH next. First of all, a KH makeover would mean no more empty KH, and that's a problem. Secondly, I could give a rat's behind about island makeovers, I want NEW content! I don't even care what it is at this point, just SOMETHING NEW.

Its quite possible that KH is next, there are numerous textures missing from it on test eluding to it having encountered some changes, although maybe texture changes for PDF are effecting it as well.

As for the empty KH issue, well... it is a glitch, something the game isnt designed for, so although it may hamper some of your favorite activities, fixing it would be appropriate.

Then fix the textures, don't defile the island. The glitch doesn't affect those who don't use it, so in the big picture, I don't see that fixing it should be a priority.

Weirdness ensues.

i decided to go to KH to see if they fixed the textures. I entered the gate......and I am standing outside the shack next to the water well accrosss from the lower fort entrance. I ran down to the gate, exited, and came back in. Same thing happened. There was another player there leveling grenades and she said the same thing happened to her.

I hope kingshead isn't redone. If they do decide to redo it, I hope they do something with the secret dock. Maybe have it as an exit from an underground thing...

I went to Kingshead today after Updates. Not only was it extremely laggy, but when I entered, it put me through the door of a shack near the line of trees instead of the front door. They're doing something with this island... :laughks2:

KH was designed to be expanded from the start. There are several areas where they can add on without much effort and there is still the secret back dock and secret tunnel to no where. Swim around inside the island a while and you will find lots of stuff that isn't opened up. Lets hope that's all they intend on doing. Would be a shame if the marching grounds are changed. The nade and staff training there can't easily be replaced.

If Kingshead is next then that will probably give us an idea on how much they've actually worked on other content.

I bet the two interns redid PDF all by themselves while the devs worked on other content. That would also explain why PDF looks ugly. You can tell the textures on the ground go over and over again. It looks like a big brown blanket covering what would be a grey area.

If they redo kingshead I'm not expecting another story quest out until after summer. It probably won't be a good on either.


Kingshead is actually the biggest navy fort. There would still be no good reason for them to destroy kingshead since they're in league with the navy.

I'd like to see us get revenge on the EITC and destroy kingshead.
