Switching servers when logging in?
 

Hi there.
There's this problem I have with the servers. My friend and I play perfectly fine together. However, his brother, whenever he logs in, the server automatically changes. So say, he chooses Vachira. Logs in. Can't find us. So he logs out, and wow, the server is the Angama Ocean.

Is this a bug? Or is there a setting to stop this?

No, it's not a bug. The server (ocean) you log into will be random unless you chose from the drop down list on the pick a pirate screen. You can also switch servers from the map page of the journal once in game.

Yes, it was picked. But DW, the problem was fixed, it appeared you had to get the pistol before it switched you to Welcome6 server.

Ahhh - the missing detail of being a new pirate :D When you create a new pirate, you are only on the "Welcome Servers" seperated from the rest. You remain there until you set sail and actually land on Devils Anvil (Some say you can just re-doc and then you are ok - don't know the actual setup currently).

Now that he is on the regular servers - there should not be a problem with server selection and switching :)
