What is the purpose of the blogs?

This is probably a silly question.. but what is the purpose of the blogs:mybadki6:?? Is it not the same thing as posting a thread? Just curious because I was looking at my stats and noticed I had zero blogs so I figured I'd at least try and find out what the purpose of it is:bookishfj7:.. that way maybe a can change that zero...

Not just so ye don't think I'm completely clueless.. I know what a blog is (i think:laughks2:) i just don't understand the difference between posting a thread and writing a blog...

A blog is sort of like having a diary somewhat online. It is far different from posting. You post whats going on, and may get comments, but its not a 'discussion' like forums posting, you post what you want to get off your chest, or whats going on with you, and people can comment on it (with your approval). You also have control over your blog somewhat (as long as it stays within the sites rules).

The blogs are for your own thoughts, musings, or anything else you'd rather not post in a thread. Maybe you want to keep track of how your pirates are doing in the game. Maybe reminisce on an adventure or tell a story. Sure these things could go in the forum but the blogs would also keep it organized and easily found for your reference. It's a little more of a place of your own too to keep your thoughts. Please remember, though, that all of the site rules apply to the blogs just as the forum.

Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids! J/K....take a look at mine. It varies from daily activities to stories. You can talk about what you had for lunch if you really wanted to share.

Just an apple?? That is not fulfilling the nutritional requirements mandated by the USDA! You'd better sneak in a yogurt and a turkey sandwich on 7 grain bread. Finish it off with a Propel (low cal/low sugar).

Start there.....then we'll talk dinner....lol
