The Forums

Well the forums are a little bit too mesy. (Yeah look whos talking) Anyways there are lots of forums that have less than like 10 threads. Like for the other category I think that the four bottem forums should be merged into one or somthing so it looks like the site is more active. And for the movie thing. I think the each movie forum should be a sub forum and that the actual forum is just genral disscusion for them.

well I tend to disagree with everything you said. i don't think your use to game forums that aren't officially open Piratesonline.com is not officially open to the public so ppl aren't on this site that much there are over 200 ppl on this site, but because the game isn't open, it's not busy. Take VMKF for example (Virtual Magic Kingdom Forums). Before VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom) opened the forum was not as busy. When this game opens, it will get busy quick look at VMKF for example again. At the start of the site, not much at all, and over about a 2 year period these are the main results.

Here is the link to the homepage, so you can see the forums topics better,

vmkforums.com

but because the movies here ont his site are pirates themed because the game is pirate themed so it's a good idea to keep all four topic threads seperat because once the game opens, it will go crazy, because a lot of people will join.

The chances of what you said to happen is like 1% or close to it because they are planning ahead. They don't know when the game will open, could be tomorrow (probably not but just saying).

Yes this site has done very well for the fact that it isn't even open to the public yet.

We plan on reshuffling a month or two after the game goes open.

Well, atm I think it's pretty good because the way it set up right now is really good. but as the game moves on, you'll probably change some of it but i think of what he was saying, should stay the same because of the theme of the game, but hey it's just my opinion and it's your site i'm fine with it either way lol

You will find that as the game progresses and more members join the forums that things will change. It is always a work in progress.

The example of VMKf is a good one because we move forums around and add or take away forums as the need arises.

not that anybody asked but I, for one, am VERY impressed with how this forum is set up - looks very organized in my mind and is certainly more active and up to date than other sites I have seen!
