een invited to the TEST server...Now what?
 

Been playing just under a year. Just got invited to have TEST server access. Can someone tell me what's all involved. Will I lose my current pirate? Do I actually have to start all over? Do they monitor how much I play?

If someone could give me just a little more info, it would really help.

It is completely separate...you start new pirates over there, from level 1. Nothing from TEST affects anything on OPEN. Just sign in with the Pirates_TEST thing (even while on regular Pirates, if you want extra lag to test something.)

For the test server, you will have to start out with new pirates, you will not loose your pirates on open. The goal for the test server is to Test everything

It's like getting 4 extra pirates in a secluded, more private Caribbean. You get to see changes before they arrive on Open. You get to report problems, though that usually doesn't stop anything from being released on Open.
