Anyone tried PVPing?
 

Has anyone tried the PVP (Player Versus Player) system yet? I have been searching for a PVP battle, but it never finds anyone willing to PVP.

If you have actually tried it out, how is it? How does it work?

I tried it once yesterday, and its okay. I did the ship battle, and the guy on the other ship must have been a great shot cause he kept killing me with one shot out of his cannon. But there isn't much lag, and the concept is great, just needs a little more tweaking.

I played a PVP combat and it was fun. Fight to the death and all pirates are skeletons. I also played a treasure PVP. Took a while to figure it out, but I did eventually.

I did Mayhem PvP yesterday, it was fun. I would've liked to see bigger battles (Warcraft PvP) or even able to run around some islands as an actual skeleton getting to fight players (LotRO PvP) but this Arena type thing is OK. I do hope they randomize your look for PvP in the future, because fighting a cursed pirate who looks exactly like me is annoying. Does look promising though..

yeah our guild took on a few crews the other night its cool.. the Dev's need to get the whole system going and eveything with tally points and everything,,,

I tried the Treasure Map PvP once, but I didn't understand at all what the objective was. My opponent and I got whisked off to some island with a fortress that had treasure chests lying all over the place. You could pick them up and walk with them but I really didn't understand what I was supposed to do. After a few minutes of battling each other, I exited.

I did the treasure map game and you pick up the treasure chests and take them to the fort. When you walk to the back of the fort in the couryard, a hole will appear and your treasure chest will be added. You need to fill it to 100 i think. Your opponent can fight you and I think they can steal your treasure.

Wow. Sounds like fun. Everytime I click to find a pvp game, it keps searching and searching and never finds any. I don't got any friends to pvp with, they never online when I am on. lol

Hope I'll get a chance to pvp soon.
